Qualifications

Hello, I’m Julia, a funeral celebrant based in South Manchester. I hold the NOCN Diploma in funeral celebrancy, and I am here to help you create a ceremony that gently and honestly reflects the life, personality and values of your loved one. I will take time to meet with you, listen carefully to your memories and stories, and together we will shape a tribute that feels truly personal and heartfelt.

You will receive a full draft of the tribute to read through and amend, and after the ceremony a final version — carefully prepared and held with the same care and attention throughout.

Background

With many years as a healthcare professional, I understand how to support people during life’s most difficult moments. I am flexible, inclusive, and committed to ensuring every voice is heard. I respect all traditions, beliefs, and backgrounds, and welcome contributions from family and friends.

Engaging speaker

As an experienced lecturer and conference speaker, I bring calm, confidence, and compassion to every ceremony. I deliver tributes with sensitivity and respect, and can offer guidance on music, readings, poetry and prayers that reflect your loved one’s individuality.
